I seem to recall discussions about this in the past here, but cannot seem to find the correct keywords to feed the search engine to find them again, so here goes:

What effect would a pump that pushed say 15psi, vs the 5-7psi the stock lift pump does, have on an IDI fuel system?

I seem to recall discussions where folks say it advances timing, some that disregard the claim, etc. What is the rated psi of the Holley Reds everyone seems to use?

Anyone?

i hear reds push around 7psi and blues push around 15psi as far as problems idk. i have the original gasser tank in mine and supposedly pushes 60psi and the only problems i have are the gov dosent keep up when u let off so it stalls and it makes the motor run loud as hell. performance wise it helps a crap load on my truck its like hitting a switch for a 50 shot of NOS. havent had anything quit on it yet.
