I'm going to install a fuel pressure guage under the hood. I plan on using one of the ports on the back of the fuel bowl. What size fitting is it?

Not sure how much the filter system was changed forY2K but here's my couple pennies.... :D

 nuttin' on the back of the filter bowl.........
BUT there is an 1/8" port on the regulator....just remove the schrader valve....BE CAREFUL- that regulator is tapped for straight as opposed to the tapered threads on a guage!

Just snug with a dab of sealant should do for testing.
If you want to permantly mount one, get a small hose made up with the same threads as the shrader, then mount the guage on the fire wall/fender box etc....

hope this helps

Scott what I use for my fuel pressure gauge for the 2002 is a 7/16"-20 UNF-2A x 1/4" NPT fitting, the part going into the bowl should be the Boss O-ring type. ;Sweet

Just got done. I put a 1/4"SAE fitting with a schraeder valve on for now until I get a good liquid filled or in-cab guage.
