Thinking of adding a fuel pressure guage to my idi, choices are 0-30 or 0-60. Currently have the stock mechanical lift pump but might switch to an electronic one day, don't think that would make a difference.

Thanks,

Hmm, glad I asked, 0-30 would be pretty useless. Thanks;Sweet

I'll have to call them. I'm looking at ISSPRO guages but they only show mechanical fuel pressure which seems like a no no to put in the cab. I can't imagine they wouldn't have electronic ones.:dunno

You should be able to find an electric one. Fuel running into the cab is not a good idea. I've began to not like running mechanical oil pressure gauges either because the mice seem to think the plastic line is yummy. But anyway, you should be able to find what you need in an electric gauge somewhere.

That's what I figured, I remember being warned by several guys about mechanical oil pressure lines. Of course a while back mechanical was the only way.

Yup, 0-15 psi is plenty. Electric only in the cab. It is a big "NO NO" with most state DOT's to have a mechanical fuel pressure gauge in the cab. Autometer's mechanical fuel pressure gauge has "do not mount in cab" printed on it's face.

Here is mine:
