I was washing the truck yesterday and noticed the uneven tire wear on my front passenger side tire (for the hundredth time). So I jacked it up, and found quite a bit of wiggle in the tire (from left to right, as though you were turning the steering wheel). So I took the tire off, and also lifted up the other side, same play in the driver side, and I could see all the tie-rods jumping around when I shook the tire. I suppose I will be rebuilding the front end with new tie rods, ball joints, and at least repacking the bearings. I also found a crack in one of the brake rotors so I will be replacing the brakes as well.
