Front end leak?

Found 1 spot of gear oil on the driveway from the passenger side. I have NO experience in this dept and would appreciate some help from the gurus on here please.

Its an 02 4x4 F250 with manual locking hubs. I read somewhere about a seal, then another place said the whole unit had to be replaced. Opinions? options? worst of all prices? HAHA

Thanks in advance for any and all help on this. I plan to do it myself if possible.

The whole carrier had to come out, you pretty much end up stripping the housing minus the pinion.

Before you do that, take it out and run it on gravel or dirt in 4x4 for awhile, that will sometimes dry them up.
It is worth a shot considering how much work it is.
Most of the seals I have pulled out have been fine, they are just dirty.
