Fram Air Hog Air Filter...

Wondering what you think of Fram Air Hog air filters, or what you would recommend....

The Air Hog is a cleanable filter very much like the K&N. They flow well but you sacrifice filtering and often cause excessive compressor wheel wear. Most recommend a quality paper filter and change it when needed.

Good advice, gnathv....what would cause the excessive compressor wheel wear?

It lets thru to much dirt, especially on dirt or gravel roads.
