That's a fantastic car. I have an identicle one but '99. 265k on all original engine and drivetrain, including the clutch. Still gets 36-37 mpg and still passes emissions on the original cat.

either the person who bought it is looking to flip it or the seller wised up on the potential value of the truck.
last time the ad was posted, the truck was dirt cheap. iirc it was in the $1500obo territory.

Damn my luck... $1500 is a good deal on just the engine...

I had an SRT-4 and found Mitsubishi logos all over under the hood... heck, my 1992 7.3 has a Subaru muffler ;)

hell, at that price, the motor mount brackets and trans adapter is worth the price of admission. Marvin/Fordsnguns over in Eastland gave me the "heads up" when the orig CL ad popped up last year, but I'm overloaded on projects right now. There's no doubt, it's been rode hard and put away wet.

I have a feeling that that truck is ragged out. I would haggle down for sure, who knows how they cobbled that thing together.
