factory body bushings

well i'm planning a 1" hockey puck lift but also noticed the cab was sagging a little so I called the stealership for a quote on some new body mounts.

It took the guy a while to find everything because you have to purchase each individual rubber bushing.

the bad news is that it would cost $230 for the front and central body bushings.
the really bad news is that they have discontinued the rear body bushings. Umm, can I just say that I'm confused on why they'd discontinue only one set of bushings?

So thoughts are to:
1. just throw the pucks in there and deal with mismatched lines.
2. get some 1/2" spacers for the bed to straighten the lines
3. get poly bushings(I was told these cause more road feel and squeak)

I'm probably going with option 1 with a backup of option 2 if it looks odd.

anyone else run in to this problem and come up with some other solutions?

My driver's side front is also gone. Haven't decided on how I will go about replacing it yet.

wow! now I think I got the pricing wrong. Because if I remember correctly the parts guy told me the front was $15+$99 for each side. So that would make the total $330 = ouch!!!

Poly bushings have been awesome on my truck for 3 years now. Of course, my truck rides a little rough anyway due to the add-a-leaf in the front and the airbags in the rear. I noticed no adverse effects after installing the bushings, and my body lines are now lined up again and the doors open properly.

Body lift

I just did my crew cab 2 inches using roller material from a local boat trailer building company, they said it will hold 4000 lbs. Ask me a year how it holds up. I used stainless steel Threaded rod and locking nuts instead of bolts. I'll do the box this summer but I have a 5th wheel hitch to deal with also, as it is frame mounted.

Check Lmc for rubber cab mounts. Still expensive but available.
