exhaust adapters

I am building my own 4" exhaust. I have all of the pipe sections and bends that I have collected from various repairs done at work. However I need to find a good source to buy my adapters from my stock Exhaust to 4" as close to the turbo as possible and then from 4" to a 5" tip that I have made from the end of a chrome truck stack that I have salvaged. I have looked a little on line but really dont know where is the best source for that kind of thing. Most pipe that changes size that I see at work is model specific and usually includes a bend or something. Nothing down to stock which I havent measured yet. An adapter that attaches at my ATS turbo and goes straight to 4" would be really cool. Any Ideas I would greatly appreciate.

Do you have the 3 inch downpipe on your turbo. What model turbo is it?

all I know is ats I have never checked actual model I believe the downpipe is 3" just at a glance but have not measured it yet.

Any good truck parts retailer will have the needed adapters. Depending on you setup you may have to adapt further downstream from where you want. If you are internet insistent

Summit racing has quite a nice selection of adapters and parts. Some of the prices were hard to beat to.

napa and carquest carry adapters. The have to order them though. a 3" to 4" will cost you $17 to $18.

Thanks to all for the helpful info. I am hoping to have all I need so I can fabricate and install my exhaust this weekend. Will take pic's and post when I am done.

if you are good with a torch or cuttin blade on a grinder there is the cheap mans way of make your own reducer. find the circumference of the larger pipe and subtract the circumference of the smaller pipe and divide by about 6 or 8, cut triangles of that width and bout 3 in deep spaced equally along the larger peice of pipe, hammer together and weld up. prob dont make any sense how i typed it but my dad tought it to me and it works great
