umm well a diesel is supposed to be loud,greasy and smokey.growin up i loved watching the cloud come out of the big rigs everytime they grabbed a gear.

Some people are offended by excess smoke. On n/a idis it really does serve no purpose. The general attitude around here is that showing off like that is what helps pass legislation against older diesels. And some just get upset cause' fuel costs

I'm all for a little smoke every once on a blue moon, but HD is right. It's just a waste of fuel, gets in your oil, makes heat, and brings regulatory scrutiny on our trucks.
