Engine will not crank sometimes

jumping the solinoid on the fender from large post to large post. this eliminates the solinoid and will send power to starter. if you jump from batt + to the little post on the solinoid, the solinoid should click and start cranking if it is good.

Apparently right now it's working. First try it cranked. Guess I have to wait to try it when it will only click....i did however just for the heck of it jumped the 2 big terminals and it cranked. Then tried the batery hot side to the small terminal and it took a few tries get it to do anything. I dont know if it was just how I did it or if it started having issues again.

if u send power to the little prong, and it just clicks, first try removing the solinoid and cleaning up the mounting surface, it grounds threw that. if that doesnt work replace the solinoid. like 15 bucks from autozone.

Ill try that..btw it's a motorcraft I'm suspecting original! I looked through autozone site and it kept only showing the starter mounted solenoid.
