Electric Fuel Pump

I've started to get trigger happy with the truck, and put a set of BB's on it, put on the DPS IP, bouht and installed the transcommand, and bought a sidewinder to put on when I get back from Vegas... In the past week. I havent driven it since I started this, so IDK how it's going to act yet. However I'm already looking into an electric lift pump.

The questions are:
- What choices do I have as far as the actual pump goes?
- Does anyone have an in depth parts list for the pump build?
- and does anyone have any intel as to how my ride is going to be when I get done?

The only pumps I readily know of is the Holley pumps and the facet pumps.
There a great edition I should have done it months before I did.

The best choice for an electric lift pump is one made for reefers. Designed to last 1,000's of hours, and to LIFT fuel. Not cheap but nothing really good ever is. About $125. There are 2, Facet Duralift and Carrier. If you go to a big rig refrigeration shop you will find one, they are on ebay too. The Carrier has a see through fuel bowl with a screen, the Facet has a screen no see through.

I did a quick search, found no Carriers, but found a facet duralift for 110 dollars, wht else will I need?

I used the carrier pump. available from Gen Lightning, a forum member here. I read all of the forum members install threads.
Had the fuel system apart, redid the whole thing, including all the hard lines, return lines etc. I followed the forum members advice to the t... After 6 months of a totally dry fuel system, it started with one turn of the key. no exaggeration. amazing mod, and you will not regret it.

Will the pump from Gen Lightning work with a wmo mix? I would really like to do a electric pump

Most have been able to run around a 50/50 blend. Any heavier and they start having problems. May depend on what you're running and how well you filter it.

Right now I am running about 75%wmo and 25% kerosene blend that is ran through a centrifuge. If a electric pump is as good as everyone says it is I would go with a 50 50 mix. Starting better and a bit more power would be worth it to me.

I've run a couple hundred gallons of 70-75% WMO/ 25-30% K-1 through my duralift. It seems to still be chuggin along.

If you plan on using WMO, i would be careful with your mixes, but if you're going to run diesel you wont have a lick of trouble. I highly recommend the Dura-Lift. GenLightening is also the best guy to get it from.
