DO we have any experts on this engine, It is a 2000 in Troys service truck, parked it friday, monday morning big hesitation on acceleration??
Ive not worked on these.

I guessing all are untouched. Im guessing this thing is an inline powerstroke system? I dont work on those either. Troy found a rubber ball in the strainer?

And do you still have that extra cam?

the 466 and psd uses many common engineering concepts of that time. not all the parts interchange but the diagnostics is roughly the same.
yes, I still have the cam.
many nibblers but not biters so far.

Was it once then it was done, or is it still sluggish?
While I know it's not normal, sometimes after I change my oil (on the powerstroke) it'll do that a few times.
If the hpop drains down and gets air in it, they'll act screwy.
Other than that, I'd look for a icp sensor, if it has oil in the plug, it's bad.

He said it ran normal this morning, the rubber check ball in the primer pump/screen housing is all chopped up, im guessing some of it got in the transfer pump???
