My truck has a lubfiner (sp) secondary filter on it. I am going to remove it because it is in the way big time and I don't want to accidently tear it off or break a hose. Anyway, it is fed out of the bottom of the oil cooler, and returns to the top of the pan. I am wondering if I can just put a plug in both places, or do I need to run an oil line between them. It is only about 4 inches, but if I don't need the line I'd just as soon not have it.

Thanks,
Ben

Just plug it. Just a bypass filter, so it wont hurt it to not have it, except for the difference in filtering.
