Drop bracket damage

Well I got the old bracket out and a new bracket in. I pulled one out of a truck with no front axle, so it was pretty easy getting the part. Not so easy getting it in. It cost me $15 bucks for the bracket.

The accident moved things around considerably. I'm going to have to get the frame straightened.

The bolts that sit where the crack had started were only GRADE 5!cookoo:backoff:eek: The threads were kinda mashed down too, I figure that allowed the bracket to move around and start the crack?. The ones I put back in were 10.9 from the bracket I pulled at the JY.

Surprisingly the truck actually rides better and smoother, especially over speed bumps. ;Sweet

It;s amazing how nice a truck will drive when it isn't trying to steer ever time it hits a bump :p

Hopefully the frame shop will get you all straightened out (enjoy that pun)
