Driveshaft with carrier bearing

Okay. Another ignorant noob question. Never had a truck with a carrier bearing in the driveshaft. Does the whole shaft come out in one assembly (front part/carrier bearing/rear part) or can you take it out as three or more likely 2 pieces.

The rear section with two universal-joints will separate from the splines once the rear-most joint is removed from the pinion-yoke.

To bring down the forward section requires un-bolting the carrier from the cross-member --- providing my memory is correct.

The carrier and carrier-bearing remains attached onto the smooth portion of the splined slip-yoke shaft.

Thanks! That's pretty much what I figured. Easiest front driveshaft I ever removed. Didn't even hardly bend over. Having the cab and clip off do that for you I guess.
