Drag strip times

Figured I'd post these so anyone with a similarly equipped truck would know what to expect. All launches were in 4 high.

Best 1/4 mile time = 15.40
Best 1/8 mile time = 9.71
Best reaction time = .5465

This was tonight in Gulport, MS.

Not to shabby for an 8000lb F-250 diesel crew-cab 4x4 IMHO.

I did about five time trials and then the run for the money. I beat my guy in the run for the money but got eliminated in the first round because I broke out. Sux 'cause I changed my dial-in at the last minute. I was trying to go around the water box but it was wet all over the shoulder so I was slipping on the launch. When I went back they had dried it up some, the truck hooked up, and I broke out. Oh well, it was fun anyway.

Which truck were you in? The 99 or the 02? Pretty good numbers for either truck if the only mods you have are the ones listed in the sig... what was the ET in the 1/4?

I was in the '02. The 1/4 was 15.40. It might have done a little better in the 1/4 because it was steadily getting faster. I started at 15.46, then 15.42, then 15.40. I guess it was getting warmed up real good. I could only run 1/4 passes during the time trials though; it was 1/8 mile only after that.

86.56mph for the 1/4 mile run at 15.40

68.79mph for the 1/8 mile run at 9.71
