Ok, I finally got to start driving my 94, I put those injectors in it a couple years ago but never really drove it. I have read posts about the problems with them. Could those of you that have them or had them refresh me as to why you guys hate them. My truck never ran this bad(Aside from ongoing E-4OD electrical problems, I'll save that for another post) The idle is crappy, which I believe you all said, and it is hard to start sometimes when hot. I want to test my originals and put them back in, when I get my tester working untol I can get some moose misters.

They have a horrible spray pattern. Injectors are supposed to mist the diesel, DPS injectors basically just **** out diesel. That means it will have a bad idle cause of those big droplets arent burning all the way. If you have lots of smoke, that is why as well.

Thats pretty much why they suck. Mine only ran on 6 at idle, and never really improved off idle. I took that junk out and put new Delphi's in and it runs great. Never did get hold of Ken to get my money back...

Namely that 2 of them were stuck shut. Probably stock BB codes even with a "Hot" DB2 pump will be better.

The ones I had popped at only 1200-1300 psi puke they leaked (drippled fuel at less than pop pressure), there is no atomization of fuel, just a **** stream. The idle was bad, fuel mileage suffered, the smoked on decel, and they made the truck hard to start.......especially in the cold. To me that isn't worth the minor gain in HP. Moose injectors (I like 'em) or just stock BB Delphi's would be better.
