Do any of you guys have dual alternators?

That's what I was thinking. Just wasn't completely sure since you mentioned buying a new regulator plug.

I have the 3g alternator but none of the wiring harness to wire it in with. Instead of freezing my ass off in a junkyard tomorrow I can go to oreillys and buy it for 9 bucks.
