Mazda 2.0 diesel made for Perkins. won't get 45 mpg with a 4spd trans maybe 30. no turbo but a stout little motor, but man are these slow.

looks like he is asking about twice what it is worth but somebody might jump?
it definitely is rare , especially in the USA where gas has been cheap compare to here.

Yeah, I think he is about 1200 too high. I'm constantly on the lookout tho for one that is total junk, but with a VIN and title. Might come in handy if I move to another state.

come on rob this would be perfect for you. you and the wife could have matching rides. LOL

but we all know you would get the slower one.LOL

I wish we could have gotten those rangers. We only had diesel rangers in the mid to late 80's, 2 or 3 model years. They were only in the 1st gen rangers. Once the 2nd gen came out in the early 90's we were only able to get petrol rangers until they discontinued them in the states. We are getting a ranger back in 2018, but I've not heard anything confirmed on the engines. A 4x4 diesel ranger would be a perfect commuter for me.... Or the new bronco.......
