dealers diesel? reputation?

going to look at remaned 7.3 built buy dealer diesel any one exseriance with them? he has the paper work to go with it. done't know if it was evr run any things to look for? wont know how much was rebuilt ether just looking for info on what to look for

The engine in my truck is from Dealer's diesel. Seems to run great. Was in the truck when I bought it.

they had a bad run about 5 years ago, a shop here had 2 with loose sleeves. Hard to check unless its running, if it is running and has miles on it with no head gasket issues it "should" be ok.

I put a dealers diesel in my crewcab back in 1998. Been a great engine. No troubles with it ever. We also bought a Uhaul truck 3-4 years ago with a dealers diesel and it ran great also. We only kept it for about 1 year though and then sold it.

I've used them for years and I have never had an issue.
