Dana 60 kingpin?

I got a 93 7.3 idi
And I have have 87 parts truck with a king pin axle. Is it worth swapping ? Are these axles better then a ball joint one?

are you saying you already have a ball joint D60 under your truck and are contemplating swaping it out with a KP D60?
Unless you spend a majority of time on fire trails and very little time on dry pavement, will you bennefit from the swap.
if you currently have a D50 IFS and is remotely toying with the idea of swapping in the D60.......stop thinking and just do it. the ability of not needing 40 acres to do a U-turn is priceless.

They both have their strengths and weaknesses. Anymore I want the ball joint axles. Stronger parts and better brakes

Not to doubt you however please explain how brakes are better???
