I have an injection line that won't seal on the injector and therefore leaks. I installed new return lines, including viton o-rings. It's not the return lines, or the copper gasket on the injector.
I think I cranked the line down tight while mis-aligned and ruined the end of the line. I pulled the line off and I can see that the tip is mangled.

I tried sanding it smooth but it's pretty jacked, still not sealing.

I searched the forum for about 20 min and can't find a seller of new hard lines.

Can someone point me to a seller?
It's the second one back, from the front of the truck, on the driver's side.

Get a new line. Ford still sells them. Or try a wrecking yard. I always keep a spare set of lines in my tool box in case one cracks out of nowhere on the road. which has happend to me.

Just make sure you put those aggravating clamps back on the lines exactly like they were from the factory. I learned the hard way if you leave even one of them off, your line will crack at the most inconvenient time.

All the above is so true but we find out the hard way sometimes. That line you fubared is the number 4 cylinder. Look closely at the head to intake manifold runner. All the cylinder numbers are cast into the intake manifold runners. Most any idi engine will have the same line except the van engines. If a van is the only idi engine you can find get the rotunda pulse adapter between the hard line and the injector. It looks just like whats on the trucks number one hard line. One more thing. those hard line nuts are much harder than the injector threads. Try removing the injector and line. File the threads back correctly and test fit the nut to the injector. Only hand tighten it completely. That wil tell you the treads are ok now. When yo put things back together leave the clamps off till the line is on and tested for leaks. I'm sure it will be fine. Now replace that way too short bolt that holds the line clamps to that mess we call a line vibration dampner. If you have a tuff time reaching under to get the bolt and nut started tape the nut in a wrench to hold it steady. Use a 3/4 inch long 1/4 inch diameter bolt. I have several complete sets of hard lines. Many members here do also. Its good cheap Sunday nite insurance if you ask me. Ebay does list them all the time too.

Ok, thanks for the info.
I'll check the local junk yard today.
I wasn't sure if used was an OK way to go, but I suppose if the used lines are in good shape - they should work. If all fails, it sounds like I can still hit up the dealership.
