Cruise control option?

I got a friend with a 2000 f150 and hes wanting to add cruise to it so does anyone know what it takes to add it?

not much, buy one of the "universal" cc kits, they work on anything OBDII in my experience

or go to a PnP and get the factory setup off of one

are you saying its an easy job? Like the OBS diesels where all you need is the center of the steering wheel with the controls?

yup it's no more difficult than installing a remote starter, just get one of the electronic kits where you wire it into the computer and it's good to go, the audiovox ones are ok from what I hear, but the Rostra kits are great and made in the USA
