I have a 93 f 350 4 door 4x4 with a 7.3 Idi with a ATS turbo on it
I bought it and the cruise worked , Now it dosent. I checked all the fuses, all Ok.
I checked @ Ford they said there is a relay and showed me a pic that looks like a old horn relay. three prong and a mounting tab on top. They couldnt tell me a location or get it for me .
I went to a local parts store and the also said there is a relay and I bought it .
I dont know were it is I looked under the dash and in the engine compartment????
Does anyone know were it would be or what to check?
Thanks
John

check your vacum lines. I know when I was adding PS fluid to the resevoir I would knock a vacum line loose and the CC would not work.

Do you have a standard or auto trans? If you have a standard, it may be the brake/clutch circuit. As far as the relay goes, it may be the deactivator switch. On the 7.3L, the deactivator is located under the mastercylinder.

PM me and I'll send you the diagnostics from the factory service manual.

The relay is prolly under the hood, in the power distribution box. Right behind the coolant expansion and windshield washer fluid tanks.

Double check the plug on the CC module. It's a known problem with these CC's. Clean the contacts, and lube the weatherpac.

The hoses will be out at the servo under the hood by the brake master.

I unplugged the control mod and put some dielectric grease in and re plugged.

The relays in the power dist. I was told were for Trail related things
