I'm going to start running my 6.9 on WMO after I get a few things fixed up on it, and I need to build a filtration setup. I have several large industrial filters that have been sitting in my shop for a while, I got them free from a company that went out business. I understand they are normally quite expensive.
They say they use a #2 bag filter. I see they are available down to .5 micron. Can I use one or more of these for my WMO filter setup? It seems like a filter that size would hold an incredible amount of dirt before needing a new filter...no?
They are also available in different materials, what is the difference?
Polyester: http://www.filtersource.com/c49/c3/polyester-filter-bags-c28.html
Polypropylene: http://www.filtersource.com/c49/c3/polypropylene-filter-bags-c29.html
High efficiency polyproylene: http://www.filtersource.com/c49/c3/pomf-high-efficiency-filter-bags-c106.html
I also have a bunch (10?) of these large polyglass vessels, used for holding sand or carbon filter media, they hold around 30 gallons each. (Like a giant water softener tank) Is there anything I can do with these?
And then I have these other housings, that take some sort of cartridge filter. Will these do me any good?
I don't know why the forum turned my pictures upside down and sideways, they are right on my computer...
