We had 6 degrees this morning. I found out both my batteries are bad.
had a guy pull into the lane when i was coming onto from an intersection. he took the only open lane there was so i was forced to ramp a snow/ice bank about 2 feet high. my buddy nailed his head on the cealing and my other buddy on the back with no belt hit the cealing with all his back. was enough to pop my radio out of the dash landed fine and didn't do any harm that i could tell a year later. some of the guys at work wont ride with me anymore
Well it has been in the high teens to high 20's here with some snow[pics in pics section] sat for two days, one glow set throttle turned 1 second more than normal, Took a while to warm up but it sure is fun doing donuts in the highway with a crew cab, takes up both, well three maybe four lanes

Mine has only been fired once since October but with this weather I figured it would be better to drive it than the 'other' 4x4. Due to a leak at the fuel heater (that I knew about) it took two tries but away she went.
Why is it that most people can't see the humor in a 8,000#, 20+ foot long truck going down the road sideways or doing a donut or two ???
, but I should have gone somewhere other than the parking lot at my bosses office. He couldn't figure out how there was so much snow "caked" on the side of the building and his office door. I didn't say a word. Most people are okay with seeing the headlights and grille of these trucks coming down the road... Now, if they're looking at two doors, a front fender, a 8' pickup bed, and two tires taking up the WHOLE road comint at them, they tend to freak out a bit

It was the most the 72 Chevy has been out on the highway in years.

Nothing is quite as satisfying as a good snow drift. I'd like to see those street racers even get out of their own driveway on days we get out to play
With all this bragging about donuts and drifting, does anyone have some good videos of their IDI ripping it up? I want to try every year with mine but being a 2wd I can never get out of my own driveway, so the sister's diesel ranger has to fill in.

... I fueled the truck up tonight and will be taking it to work tomorrow. There's a big open parking lot at the office and I'm sure my boss will film it for me (he's cool for an older guy). I'm still trying to get the "swing" of things with the CC. I can get the back end to "whip" pretty good, but can't really get it to "swing" the rest of the way around and keep spinning. It's still fun, and I can throw all kinds of snow with these 35" tires! I found out tonight that it will hold the tires to the ground upto 5psi on the boost in 2WD, but at that point the tires pretty much say "You better hold on because we're not anymore!"The only thing in my yard that I could get to start this morning had no tags and no insurance and was loaded to the overload stops with chicken S$#t.
Yep.... I drove it to work anyway.
But yah, donuts in a crew cab can eb quite fun, I used to do this with the company 3500 Ram Crew dually (Cummins and 6-speed ), that was some good times back then.
