Light came on this morning, pulled codes and got

P1693, From what I gather, just says the PCM and ECM agree that something is wrong.

P0500, No vehicle speed sensor signal. Can anyone tell me anything more about this one?

1693 is a companion code between the ECM and PCM. Basically,one if them saw a problem.
0500-VSS is in the rear end,think it is tied to the ABS sensor in the rear. May want to try checking for moisture in the connector and using dialectric grease on the plug. From what I understand,this code can appear from spinning the rear wheels,plus the speeo may not read right.
