I lost my face to the jaws of a poodle
South Bend SMF conversion with kevlar bushing. Peter has built a reputation, and it stands true when you try to torture one of his clutches. Lifetime warranty on the Valeo just means you'll be supplying alot of labor R&Ring the damn thing. My old 85 has the South Bend clutch, very nice pedal feel, smooth engagement. It's held up to the new owners heavy foot so far.
Doesn't help you with your predicament, but the extra coin is definately worth it when you push your rig. Tearing the hub out of a clutch disc means inferior materials, not abuse and rpm.
X2!
For the cost, service and product quality you can't go wrong. Tis all I recommend for my customers. Can't wait to get my kit installed on Goldie.
I'm just curious how many pennies I'll need to save.
