Chrome Trim

OK, so I just got another truck and I noticed a difference.

They are both XLT Lariat trim package. The '88 has chrome on the headlights, the '87 does not. I think I prefer the no chrome look. So are all '87 no chrome since it was the first year?

I'm pretty sure no chrome on the lights is XL trim. My 88 was an XL & had no chrome on the lights or grill. When I ordered my new stuff I had to specify XLT to get chrome.

OK, so maybe a PO just had them replaced and did not specify the XLT. Glad he didn't.
