Hey everyone,
Figured it was time to stop lurking and actually introduce myself. I make my living on the manufacturing side of performance exhausts (TIG welding, mandrel bending, heavy-duty clamps, heat shielding, etc.).
I’m always amazed by the DIY ingenuity on this forum. Diesel engines put out crazy vibration and heat cycles that absolutely destroy standard exhaust parts. Whether you guys are figuring out how to keep a titanium wrap from soaking up water, or finding a way to keep a massive 5-inch exhaust tucked up nice and tight away from the axle, there’s always something cool to learn here.
I’m strictly here to talk shop, see what kind of setups you guys are running, and share any factory-level metal tech if it ever helps out.
