C6 tranny? but I guess the E4OD came out in 89, is that correct?

89 was the first year for the E4OD trans. It was a pos. Missing some major internal parts that were later added as an upgrade. The 88 year was the first 7.3 engine I think... Might have been the 89 year was the first 7.3 engine.....

Why were these built on a F350 chassis? They can't hold a payload due to the absence of the bed. I would think a F250 would have been more appropriate.

87 was the first year of the 7.3, but the 6.9 was also available that year.
