Three meters, from $50 to $250 can't pull a code from my truck even though the check engine light is on. I'm wondering if being a 97 it isn't fully OBDII compliant. One of the meters says there are 124 codes to pull but doesn't pull a single one.

Does anyone else have a 97 that they can pull codes from? What meter make and model do you use?

Does anyone know of a certain type of meter that will pull from this early OBDII truck?

Thanks in advance,

Agreed that the AE (AutoEnginuity) is one of the best but its a pricey toy. I was always able to read all my codes with my Super Chips 1705 and had the added bonus of giving it a few more ponies with the same tool.
