Can I spray some lithium grease through the inspection hole or the clutch fork grommet towards the throw out bearing to see if it makes my clutch movement easier? I was having some pedal issues and resolved those and have normal travel and engagement but the pedal feels harder to push. Wanted to see if my throw out is the culprit or if I maybe have something out of adjustment.. or maybe I'm just getting used to the t19 in my 6.9 which has all new everything clutch related and I'm spoiled but nonetheless..

Maybe you could try dry graphite lube. That won't get sticky from clutch dust build up.

I put grease on a paint brush and dab the throw out bearing, clutch fork, and input shaft where the t.o.b rides about once a year. This is on a zf5 though. These clutch springs are very stiff either way. I’ve been trying to talk the south bend clutch guys in to building new hydraulics for our trucks since they do for the zf6 7.3s

BTW, the LuK smf kit is one heck of a lot softer than anything else, but it holds the power... I'm happy with mine, but it feels completely different from a stock one.

I don't remember what a stock clutch feels like, but I'm happy with my Luk SMF too.
