I sink the valves to .060 in the heads.

I was just wanting to know what to look for exactly on my upcoming 6.9 build/swap. I'm hoping to be able to use the cam I bought from you a while back in this engine.The cam is a drop and there's been no issues so far. The only problem that I have with this is that on all of the Factory Turbo pistons that I've seen that were OEM had about 1/4" around the outside of the piston tops that weren't anodized. Yes, under hard use/abuse, all of the pistons do start to erode at the edges of the tops first. I'm sure that's from not keeping an eye on the EGTs.anodizing on pistons to prevent edge erosion
