My C6 auto has had a leak for a couple of months from around the selector shaft. I changed the seals on that two weeks ago bit there is still a small amount leaking from what I think is the intermediate band adjustment. It's a thread with a locknut just in front of the selector shaft. Is there a way to seal this up properly? I've attached a photo of the area, sorry the orientation is a bit out. I've never owned an auto before any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks OLDBULL8. The manual is pretty vague on it.
I've checked other things like the fluid level at operating temp and if the breather is clear. I just didn't want to tear into it, especially if its a band adjustment.
With my luck I'd just end up with a bigger mess.

I've found out some more about it. The locking nut has a seal. It just doesn't show up on any of the component breakdowns that I could find. I'll purchase one and change it out.

Having never actually seen this seal I was wondering why this did not leak more on other C6 trans bands adjustment. See... I learned something today.....
