bw 1356 rear seal

I have a slip yoke bw 1356 transfer case. I have replaced the seal twice and it keeps sliding out. Any helpful advice out there?

sounds like the bronze bushing in the tailcone is worn out. if you want a stopgap, there are hose clamps with retaining fingers to help keep the seals in.

Also the rubber od seals dont fit tight enough to stay in. I had to get a new bushing and yoke to stop my leak.

What is a stopgap? Sorry, I don't know much about transfer cases...
