I was thinking bout buying a friend Brick nose gasser. F250 4WD, plow, kinda rusty, would this headder bolt on to the brick nose? Fenders line up? I wouldnt want the gasser engine in for very long.

All of the Ford trucks from '80 to about '86 pretty much used the same body panels, the only differences from the outer to the interior are the engine and tranny configurations and whether they are XL,XLT which meant it had power door locks and windows and factory A/C

It'll bolt to a brick-nose frame, but you're going to need the rest of the front clip (other fender, hood, bumper)...the brick-nose sheetmetal won't bolt to the core support. You might be able to do some fabrication to make it work, but I don't know...

80-86 clip gas diesel...all same other than rad supports

87-91 clip gas diesel...all same other than rad supports

92-97 clip gas diesel...all same other than rad supports

You can interchange the clips complete with cowels from year to year body style to body style, however you cannot mix and match style to style without lots of modifications....

So as an example an 80-86 rad support won't work very easily with the 87-91 trucks, it likely COULD be MADE to work, but that's a ton of work....getting fenders and lights and hood and all to work right.
