Fix for Broken Dash Mount

Wanted to help you guys save some money and fix your rides @ the same time. Here is what you can use to fix a broken dash mount from 92-95. Home Depot hurricane tie 6inches long (Simpson Strong-Tie ZMAX Hurricane Tie Model # H2.5AZ Store SKU # 102924) 58 cents and a 3/8 by 2 inch long blot and nut. Total 1$ to fix what Ford wants 40 bucks for. 2nd picture is showing the modification I did to it with a grinder and the squares are where to drill the holes to run your bolt and factory dash bolt through. I removed 3 bolts on top and 3 on the bottom of the dash so you can pull it out enough to work on it. Then use the factory cut 3/8 holt in the side of the dash to run your top bolt through, remove glove box and drill another 3/8 hole so your top bolt can go all the through. Very easy job to do and very sturdy fix when done. Hope this makes sense it is hard to explain a job like this, but just grab the parts pop the bolts out of your dash and your just about home. Good luck hope this helps
