I would say rust. As far as I know, all the Sterlings the drum and hub are separate. I don't think anyone on here has run into a single unit on a Sterling.

Also I have one other thing, this is a little off topic but has anyone dealt with R&D IDI Performance? I'm trying to order a new set of Injectors for my truck for about $225 but it just says you order through email, and I've emailed quite a few times but still haven't gotten a response on how to purchase and pay.

Oh yes. With 12 PO's and lots of abuse. Was factory 1/2 ton 2wd, now 1/2 ton TTB 4x4 front that I plan to gank for a D60 and the 1 ton Sterling rear that was donated by a backwoods junkyard ohio wrecker, hence the cab and chassis axle. She's down for awhile. Needs a lot on top of a new frame (PO's and tick-tac-toe with a torch). Would love to find a junk body 3/4 or 1 ton IDI 5 speed 4x4 for cheap to swap the cab onto. One day I'll knock the drums loose from the hubs.

I don't think your buying a new set of injectors for 225 bucks. I bet they are rebuilt but ask to be sure. Just saying...

They're rebuilds, I was just looking for something cheaper. I got smart and bough a new set for like $400 bucks from somewhere else.

Im running justins r&D stage 1 injectors. they are SMOOTH. like em alot. I had remans from pensacola truck ran like crap, put his in, boom instant star runs smooth as butter.
