Blue box under dash

I tried put this in the gas forum but it like a ghost town over lol. Can I have a 92 250 with a 351 in it there a blueish color box under the dash by the radio in make a buzzing noise what is that box for and what does it do and do I need it like I said I tried the other forums thanks for the help

It does it when you turn the key over. There two plugs on it with a lot of wire

Un-plug it and it won't buzz anymore.

If I remember correctly, there are two such buzzer-boxes under there, a blue and a yellow one.

One buzzes for the seat-belts and key in ignition; the other buzzes when head-lights are left ON.

I could be wrong; both have been out of my truck and tossed in the parts box for more years than I can remember.

I keep meaning to resurrect one as a low-vacuum buzzer for my trailer brakes, but never quite get around to it.
