Bilstein shock question

Hey guys,

I was putting in my new shocks and the blue bellows, the accordion looking rubber stuff, looks way too compressed in the front. Anyone else have this problem? I assume that the writing on the shock should be right side up?

Its suppose to be like that. I just installed new shocks all the way around and the front ones look scrunched but they are ok. And yeah the shock is writing up

How to they compare stroke wise (compressed and extended) to the old ones?

They do look goofy.

I think they are the same stroke as the ones I took off.

I ended up over tightening the rear upper mount and stripped the nut

There is about 3/8" of thread left after the end of the nut, so I think i am going to grind and split the nut and see if I can get a long bolt of the same size to replace it, unless anybody has an better ideas.
