Bad vibes

I am considering just having the driveshaft rebalanced with new joints. It just makes me wonder because load doesn't seem to affect it. Except the other day with the trailer on, but that also put more weight on the back so....

I might just change the joints myself. Wouldn't be surprised if they're original, just can't stand working in the cold.

I hear ya there.. 20 years working outside in the cold and I still hate it (now I work inside in the cold, can't win for losing). But I would rather be safe, pull the shaft now, freeze my ass and find out for sure, or be stuck on the side of the road waiting to get towed home and still freeze my ass fixing it..

A bad u-joint will cause vibrations. Change the u-joint before balancing the shaft.
