My CDR has a bunch of oil in it. I just cleaned it all out about 200 miles ago. The hose that goes from the CDR to the intake also has a lot of oil in it. Is this normal? Seems a little excessive to me.

Doesn't sound like a CDR problem - sounds more like a blowby problem. The same problem a LOT of us with older trucks have....

Are you sure its working correctly? Should close off at higher rpms to keep from pulling to much oil mist into intake. Is your oil consumption high?

Perfectly normal. Not a single truck with a good CDR has a clean intake. No CDR and an RDT is how you accomplish that.
