Im getting a Idea from you guys as to if any body would want to buy a full ats turbo setup off a running 6.9? I would be buying the truck for gauges and some other small parts. The truck is a 87-88 model beat up badly 6.9 5speed with ac. Let me know if there is interest in this because these dont seem to come around every day.

What kit is it? Wastegated or non? I wouldnt be interested in buying it, just trying to clarify for others that I know are interested. Also, probably wouldnt be a bad idea to just decide now what you'll want for the setup, people dont like getting their hopes up about stuff only to find out later that the seller wants an outrageous price for it.

I would be giving $1200 for truck. Thats the reason I was wondering If any body would need more off the truck so I would not have to sell the turbo kit for so much. If I buy the truck and all I sell off of it is the turbo then I would have to sell the kit for atleast $600-$700 then the rest would be scrape after I pull the gauges and little stuff I want. Let me know If this is a reasonable price for the kit. I did not look under the airfilter box to see what the turbo looks like but the seller says it gos down the road good with no smoke. I will probable look at truck better tomorrow if I can.

is it an F250 or 350? You wont have a problem getting a couple hundred for that 5spd either, especially if its a 4x4 one with the transfer case.
Is it a single cab? I REALLY need a ZF5 driveshaft, but I'd bet shipping would kill me outta the deal.

f250 single cab 2wd. Is the driveshaft one or two piece?

dang, 2wd. I would need a single piece drive shaft. it wont work with my truck. I'll probably just have to have mine cut.

got truck home and got pump and injectors off and am working on getting the turbo off. I had questions over which turbo it is. It appears to be a non wastegated turbo and is rather small. the down pipe is tight against bodyline and it looks to be atleast 3" or bigger. This was surprising when I cranked up the truck and drove 70mph all the way home, usually when you buy a beater they dont drive like this one. The truck had a few nice gauges and a pyro gauge that is mounted right after the turbo on the ats downpipe contraption.
This was by far the best running 6.9 I ever have drove and I guess the turbo makes a majority of the diffrence. Also got a added plus of about 17gallons of farm diesel out of the tank!
