Another ATS Turbo ID Needed

I'm getting ready to swap the turbo from the '86 to the '85 and I'm trying to find out more about the turbo. The only numbers I can clearly make out on the tag is "1472". I'll try to get pics tomorrow in the daylight. It has 3" out for the exhaust. It mounts just like and looks almost identical to the other ATS turbo thread on here. Just wondering if the numbers I can read on it will help to narrow down which turbo it is. Thanks.

Are you looking for the ATS kit model or are you looking for the exact turbocharger model that ATS used in this kit?

The turbocharger itself will be a garrett T04B or T3/4 hybrid if its wastegated, but not sure of the exact trim. There are a total of 4 different ATS kits so far, but the newest one probably isn't what you have.

085 kit was for 1985

088 for 1988

and 093 for 1993 (this was the OEM turbo that was optional for factory turbo IDIs in 1993 and 1994, this is the T3/4 hybrid)

Both the 085 and 088 are none wastegated. You can tell them apart by the type of turbine housing on the exhaust side. The 088 has "ATS" cast into the housing and the inlet and outlets are cast integral with the turbine housing. The 085 has a bolt flange to attach the downpipe. I know the 088 has the H trim compressor housing which is right in the mid range of what the T04B can accomodate (there are larger ones that should bolt on).

If you can post a picture I can positive ID the kit.
