Short of one-off customs, has the IDI ever used aluminum valve covers?

Its a shame they didn't make a set like what was used on the 9 liter. Cast aluminum and they say International across them. They look awesome polished up!

I did chrome a set and they looked pretty good. Sold them to a member here. Don't think they got installed yet.

Yeah they would look cool but I like aluminum valve covers because they are a lot more rigid than stamped steel and rarely leak.
