Well here are wiring diagrams for 1g vs 3g I think the upgrade is pretty simple:

Well had the Purolator that is on my truck tested today and it's supposed to put out 70 amp peak - try 32.

The boxed one that they guy who sold me the truck gave me that is new is good for 20a on the bench test.

well now I know why the 12v inline fuel heater is killing my batteries...

At what engine RPM were these readings taken ??

Question: as far as your hook up goes, do you have a wire from the 3g going to your afterglow relay? It should be the power wire off of the back that causes the glow plugs to stay on and go to pin #3 on the relay. I am trying to wire up my engine now and have a 3g on it.
