That 1977 IH w/ the Formula 290 in my signature.... THAT is a project in the works. Already have enough $$$ dumped into it to turn back. Just some wiring (spaghetti to "work out"
) and redoing the interior (pulled interior stuff out of another IH). I bought it sight unseen..... just pics 
It was a project that someone started.... but the condition of the interior was "misrepresented" (or I misunderstood). Found it on Ebay of all places. 
Ran me under $1300 for a Cummins engine, 13 speed tranny and some "okay" 10.00-20 tires. At least it runs. I have the parts..... it's just the time.
