When I first got it, my truck had some tattered remnants of some radiant heat shield on the engine side of the evaporator housing, so yeasterday I got the bright idea to put some new stuff on there in an effort to help the AC performance at idle. Well, once I got the engine side of the evaporator housing covered, I went nuts and covered the whole thing and the blower housing.
Results: about a 6 deg f drop in the duct temp.
